The window is food grade TPU, which is designed for temperatures up to 220°F and free from BPAs / phthalates / and other bad chemicals. It's a transparent silicone (used in food products too so it's the highest possible grade). It is odorless with zero toxic chemicals
The PVC floor is made from the same material as the window
The Heater is mainly made from metal, with an ABS plastic rim (free from any harmful chemicals) and rated for temperatures above 300°F+ (it's the same type of hard plastic that is used in water boilers / kettles)
How is heat distributed around the Sauna Pod?

How long should I spend in the sauna?
We recommend sessions to be 15-30 minutes. If you're a regular sauna user, you may be able to stay longer. It is unlikely that you'll experience more significant health benefits by staying inside for longer as your body will have cleared out the majority of harmful toxins inside the body through sweating within the first 10-15 min.
Who cannot use the Sauna Pod?
If you have a high sensitivity to heat, have a fever, have a condition that inhibits your ability to sweat or have a pacemaker or defibrillator- we don't recommend using our sauna.
Infrared vs dry heat sauna
An infrared sauna is a type of sauna that uses light to make heat. This type of sauna is sometimes called a far-infrared sauna. "Far" describes where the infrared waves fall on the light spectrum. A regular Finnish sauna uses electric conduction heat to warm the air, which in turn warms your body.
An infrared sauna heats your body directly without warming the air around you. Studies have shown that dry heat saunas are healthier for your body long term, and most longevity studies with proven health benefits are around Finnish/dry heat saunas with higher temperatures, which is why we choose this heating option for the SaunaPod.
What EMF does the Sauna Pod generate?
Our patent pending heater uses resistance coils to generate heat. The current passing through these coils produces low-frequency electromagnetic fields (similar to other household appliances like hairdryers and electric stoves). It's impossible to get 0 EMF, but the SaunaPod heater is on the low end and would be classified as a Low-EMF appliance.
Does the red light in the Sauna Pod have any functional benefit?
The red light in our Sauna Pod is a regular red LED strip that improves the ambiance during a session.
It is not red light therapy, which requires specific wavelengths to be effective (typically between 600 to 850 nm).
Regular red LED strips are not designed for therapeutic purposes.
How do you recommend cleaning the Sauna Pod?
The Sauna Pod features a PVC flooring material that is easy to wipe clean, ensuring effortless maintenance. The chair is constructed from a durable fabric that is also designed for easy cleaning. Additionally, the cotton fabric of the sauna itself is treated with a wax coating, making it liquid-repellent. This prevents the absorption of sweat and humidity, allowing for simple wipe-down cleaning.
We also recommend leaving the compartment door open after use so that the unit gets proper ventilation
Can I buy the Sauna Pod heater separately?
No, the Sauna Pod heater is only available as part of the complete Sauna Pod system.
The heater is specifically designed to work with our 100% organic cotton Sauna Pod, ensuring the safest and most effective sauna experience. Most other sauna tents are made from polyester or nylon, which can release toxic chemicals at high temperatures. Using the heater outside of the Sauna Pod would also reduce its efficiency and overall performance.
To achieve the best results, we recommend the full Sauna Pod system, which is engineered for optimal heat distribution, safety, and durability.
What is a dry sauna?

6 reasons why you should avoid a steam-based sauna
Ineffective Heating: Steam saunas struggle to reach adequate temperatures, often failing to exceed 45°C, which is far below the necessary heat for therapeutic benefits.
Steam Leakage: Often you will experience significant steam leakage, especially when used indoors, leading to an unsatisfactory and messy experience.

Came with the new 2000 Watt heater. Currently using in ambient temps of 5C. It reaches 85C / 185F but I had to place a heavy blanket on top and a mat on the cold floor tiles to hit this. Overall, it's great and really enjoying it. Highly recommended.
My only suggestion to the Pod Company is to release a dedicated insulation cover for the top as it clearly needs this and it would be a neater solution. Also consider making the window smaller and/or having a fabric window cover that can be closed as that is the other point where it loses heat.

Astăzi am primit Sauna Pod - 01.2026
Prima impresie a fost foarte bună, toate componentele sunt atent ambalate. A fost o surpriza tare plăcută.
Montajul este relativ simplu, se poate realiza de către o singura persoană în 30-40 de minute. Ar fi de preferat sa te ajute cineva când montezi / așezi husa peste cadru. Este destul de fixa. Atentie când montezi pilonii sa verifici ca pilonul pentru încălzitor e așezat corect (cu săgeată în sus). De altfel e greu sa le montezi greșit.
Banda led deși are doar rol decorativ (nu e cromoterapie) arata foarte bine. E posibil ca atunci când o montezi sa ai nevoie de niște prinderi suplimentare fata de cele deja existente.
Am setat 85 grade Celsius și 60 de minute. Am întrat după vreo 15 minute și deja era ok. Am verificat cam după 30 de minute și temperatura în interior în partea de sus era într-adevăr 85 de grade Celsius. Temperatura exterioara era de 10 grade Celsius (în garaj unde am montat sauna).
După 60 de minute aeroterma s-a oprit și temperatura a scăzut treptat. După 15 minute încă erau 50 de grade Celsius.
Câteva observații:
- Aeroterma, deși este fierbinte o poti atinge în părțile laterale;
- E bine sa te poziționezi cu aeroterma "între picioare" altfel ai senzația mereu ca te vei atinge de ea. Ideea e ca după ce închizi ușa poți sa repoziționează scaunul, astfel încât să ai aeroterma în fata.
- Atentie va totul se încinge înăuntru. Inclusiv banda led. Dacă vrei să o repoziționezi sau sa o miști riști sa te arzi la degete. La fel și cu termometru. Are cadru de metal și frige.
- Când montezi banda led ești tentat sa o montezi cu cablul de alimentare pe direcția aerotermei. Atentie ca se încălzește foarte tare firul de alimentare și în timp e posibil sa cedeze. Poți sa poziționezi cablul de alimentare la banda led mai în lateral, fata de aeroterma.
- Se aduna apa (transpirație) jos. Poți sa pui un prosop sau sa ștergi la final.
Concluzii:
Una peste alta, am făcut cam doua sesiuni de 25 de minute cu o pauza. Nu s-a răcit foarte tare când am ieșit/întrat.

Am achiziționat suplimentar un scaun de lemn, înalt (scaun de bar) si temperatura se simte mai puternic la înălțime.
Sunt foarte mulțumit de achiziție. Mă gândesc destul de serios sa iau si un Ice pod Kiler

For me it's a dream come true, having a sauna inside my apartment. It doesn't take much space and I can use it any time I want.
In terms of quality, the sauna is pretty solid. It warms up pretty well. When set to 85 degrees Celsius, the inside thermometer shows it reaches that temperature, although, that seems to only be in the upper part of the sauna, but the middle part is warm enough.
What I would improve in a future version would be having the floor also made from insulated material, as the floor is cold now, and that can be felt in the lower part. Right now I am using a folded thick towel on the floor, but the feet don't warm up as well as the upper part of the body.
All in all, it's a great product and I enjoy it almost every day!

Nessuna necessità di fare impianti elettrici dedicati (a differenza delle saune classiche).
Percezione dei materiali di qualità.
Benefici nell'uso regolare altissimi, specialmente con una doccia fredda a seguire.
In definitiva mi sento di consigliarla.
Consigli: Mettete un'asciugamano sia sulla poltrona, che sul pavimento della sauna, così evitate di fare dei laghi di sudore. Se vi portate in sauna il telefono tenetelo sul pavimento, così non si surriscalda.

Works great!! The material looks and feels tough and the heater did its job perfectly. Love that it’s a dry sauna instead of an infrared or steam (obviously the reason why I went with the Pod Company). The only minor issue has been that the LED magnetic strip stopped working (and it certainly doesn’t stay very well, even with the four plastic clips). I contacted the company and I’m sure it’ll be resolved quickly with a replacement. The important thing is that the sauna functions exactly as described and I look forward to many sessions, sweatin’ it out!

Update- The chair broke week 2. I still really like the quality of everything else but that is annoying.
So far, so good! I really like the quality of the materials of the Sauna Pod and that is actually gets up to 180’. It takes about 20-30 minutes to hit +180 and I usually jump in at the end of my workout. The only minor gripe I have is when I get in the temp drops 5-10 degrees and it takes a while to get back up to temp. Trying to figure out how to get in more efficiently.

The pod it self feels like it’s high quality. The heater works fine and heats the pod quickly. My only issue was with the lights. The light strip has a couple clips and is supposed to attach to the frame via a combination of those clips and an adhered magnet. The magnet doesn’t work well to hold the light in place. I used about 10 zip ties to secure the light strip to the frame. For the price, adding $1 worth of clips to attach the light strip securely is not unreasonable.

The Pod is perfect for a garage. I let it warm up for 10 minutes, somewhere between 175-180, sprays some eucalyptus oil in there and jump in. Throw on a 30 minute podcast and get to sweating. By the time I’m done I have a pool of sweat on the ground. I hope out, use a towel and some natural cleaner spray and wipe up all the water. Hop on the pool or shower after and feel like a million bucks the rest of the night. Best investment in some time.
