We recommend adding 7-18 kg of ice per session, depending on the initial water temperature. The amount of ice needed depends heavily on your tap water temperature, climate, and desired temperature. If you live in colder climates, adding ice may not be necessary.
We also offer our Ice Bricks, which make large 1.5 kg ice blocks in your home freezer. These last significantly longer than regular cubed ice and melt more slowly.
Since the Ice Pod is insulated, it will keep the water cold for longer, meaning you may not have to add as much ice after the first use.

We also offer an insulated lid that will keep the water cold for longer.
To get the health benefits, you’ll need to stay in cold water below 15 °C for 3–5 minutes.
Cold water therapy works best with the right combination of time and temperature.
Each individual is different, and some people can tolerate lower temperatures.
The Ice Pod comes with a tap at the bottom for draining. To drain it, connect a standard garden hose or simply open the tap depending on where the pod is set up.
For draining it indoors or over longer distances, we recommend getting our 3 m IcePod Drain Hose
Yes!
We engineered the pod to be weather and UV resistant, so you can set it up indoors or outdoors, even in temperatures below 0 °C. The insulation layer makes the water freeze more slowly. When temperatures are below 0 °C, you will need to stir the water at least once a day to prevent it from freezing completely solid.
Alternatively, we have the Water Jet , which keeps the water moving at all times and prevents it from freezing solid (plus it makes the water feel much colder).
It’s super easy and takes less than 10 minutes! Please follow the instructions that came with the Ice Pod or watch this video: Assembly Guide
We recommend starting out with your ice bath tub temperature at around 15 °C if it’s your first time, and then slowly lowering the temperature and duration for each session. That way your body will get acclimated to the cold.
For the seasoned ice vikings, get the water below 10 °C to really feel the kick, and stay in for at least 2 minutes for optimal benefits.

We recommend adding 7-18 kg of ice to your ice bath per session depending on the initial water temperature. The amount of ice needed highly depends on your tap water temperature, the climate you live in, and how cold you desire it to be. If you live in colder climates, adding ice may not even be needed.
We also offer our XXL Ice Bricks which makes huge 1.5 kg ice bricks in your home freezer that will last significantly longer than regular cubed ice, and melt a lot slower.
Since the LongPod is insulated it will keep the water cold for longer, and you may therefore not have to add as much ice after the first time.
The LongPod comes with a tap at the bottom for draining. To drain it, connect a standard garden hose or simply open the tap depending on where the pod is set up.
For draining it indoors or over longer distances, we recommend getting our Extended Drain Hose
It's super easy and takes less than 3 minutes! Please follow the instructions that comes with the LongPod or watch this setup instructions video
Yes! All our ice baths comes with a cover lid to keep debris out of it.
We also offer an Insulated Lid for the LongPod that will keep the water cold for longer.
Yes. The chiller can easily be used with your current IcePod or even any form of other ice bath.
Connect to your existing IcePod (1 drain valve): You simply connect the hose entering the water filter side of the chiller, to the drain valve on your IcePod. And the second hose coming from the chiller outlet, goes into the IcePod over the top ring/edge.
Connect to any other Ice Bath:
You can also connect the chiller to any ice bath, bathtub, bucket - you name it. The chiller comes with pump and filter, so you simply put both hoses from the chiller into any body of water to start cooling it. If your tub doesn't have a bottom valve to connect it to, you will need to siphon water into the inlet hose to start the circulation, please refer to youtube on how to siphon - this is necessary as the pump can not start the circulation of water if there are air in the hoses.
Standard Chiller
Cooling capacity: down to 5 °C
Works best in climates below 30 °C
Power consumption: 280 W
Pro Chiller
Cooling capacity: down to 3 °C
Works even in climates up to 43 °C
Power consumption: slightly higher, but still economical
Both chillers can maintain that temperature with minimal power consumption, as they work with a thermostat that only turns on once every hour to sustain the selected water temperature, resulting in very low energy use.
No! The power usage is only 280 watts, which is comparable to the freezer in your home.
Example of power usage: at a 25 °C room temperature, with the chiller temperature set at 8 °C, it will consume around 1.4–1.8 kWh per day (every 24 hours).
This is extremely economical compared to buying ice and allows you to run The Pod Chiller 24/7 at very low cost.
(These are estimates and can vary depending on the climate and temperatures where you live).
Yes, our Water Chiller has a 20-micron filter with 24/7 water circulation, continuously removing hair, skin cells, leaves, sand, and other debris to keep your ice bath clean and ready whenever you are—with minimal effort.
For long-lasting clean water, we highly recommend our Water Maintenance Pack. Alongside the Water Maintenance Pack you can use the same filter and water for up to 45 days, significantly extending freshness and reducing the need for frequent changes.
Be your own judge of the water condition, and change it when needed. But if you choose not to use sanitizer to disinfect, we recommend changing the water every 3-5 sessions or once per week.
We also recommend cleaning the Chiller's water filter once every 1-2 weeks. You simply unscrew the transparent cover, take out the filter, and rinse it with a brush and tap water, or spray it with a garden hose at high pressure. Replace with a brand new filter once a month to avoid damage to the Chiller due to restricted water flow.
Assuming each ice bath session requires around 7–18 kg of ice, and with an average cost of about €0.50–€1 per kg in Europe, we have calculated that at 5 ice baths per week, the cost of the chiller is made back within 3–4 months.
Investing in the water chiller is undoubtedly a smart financial & time saving decision if you're a regular ice plunger, plus you skip the hassle of buying ice.
We get this one a lot, but the answer is surprisingly simple. Our core mission at The Pod Company is to make healthy habits accessible for everyone, so you don't have to sell your kidney to be able to afford a premium ice bath.
Our water chiller is priced lower than our competitors, because we have developed it from scratch using components from chest freezers. We also negotiate the best prices with our suppliers for materials and components by ordering very large stock quantities, streamline our production process to reduce labor costs, and focus on essential features without adding unnecessary ones.
Our water chiller is a high-quality and affordable option for your ice bath needs, without the huge markup most other brands put on their ice baths.
Yes!
The chiller is water resistant, so it will not get damaged from humidity and weather. With that said, we do always recommend keeping it under a shaded spot/cover/shelter/overhanging roof to protect from bad weather and direct sunlight as these factors can negatively impact its performance & lifespan.
Security measures should also be taken such as bringing the chiller indoors if it's lightning or storming outside.
Important: Please do not cover it with anything like a cover while it's running as it needs to be able to get airflow so it can cool down, and always have at least 15 inches of space around the chiller.
If you plan on using the water chiller in outdoor conditions where the temperature can reach 30 °C or higher, we highly recommend opting for the Pro version. The Pro chiller is specifically designed to handle higher temperatures and maintain optimal performance in such conditions. On the other hand, if you intend to use the chiller in a lower-temperature environment below 30 °C or in a garage, the standard version will be suitable for your needs. See all specifications here: The Water Chiller
The water chiller is very quiet and the readings that we have made range from 40-45 decibel so around the same noise level as a fridge.
Yes, Our chiller is built to withstand all the elements, your water stays clean and cold, even in the hottest climates.
Do be cautious in freezing conditions, and follow the recommendations in the manual that comes with your chiller.
It is essential that your chiller is running 24/7 should the outside temperature drop below freezing, otherwise the chillers pipes and internal tank can get damaged. With consistent water flow this does not happen.
We always recommend emptying the chiller from water by disconnecting the hoses and tipping it, to let water drain out, and thereafter storing it inside in non-freezing conditions until needed again. The purpose of the chiller is to operate in warmer temperatures, to keep your water cold, and there's no need to have your chiller connected to the IcePod, when it's freezing outside, as your water will maintain the cold temperatures needed naturally.

Unlike steam saunas that often use cheap polyester materials (which can release toxic gases when heated), our sauna is designed to prioritize your health. It is made with 100% natural black cotton inside and out, with cotton insulation between the layers.
You can expect the SaunaPod to heat up to 85 °C, unlike steam saunas that only reach about 45 °C, which are not sufficient temperatures to unlock the scientifically proven sauna health benefits.
The SaunaPod is the world’s first portable hot air sauna able to reach these temperatures.
It's a hot air based system, heat is generated from our patent pending electric heater, think of it as a miniature version of a regular sauna stove. No steam or water is needed, providing genuine heat without the dampness.
It heats up to 85 °C, unlike portable steam saunas that only reach about 45 °C.
Operates with a standard EU plug at 230 V.
The SaunaPod will heat up to 85 °C in 15–20 minutes.
It should only take about 5–10 minutes to set up your SaunaPod, unlike other products on the market. Saunas costing thousands of euros can take multiple hours to set up and often require specialist tools.
It is just as simple to take down the SaunaPod, and a carry bag is included so you can take it on adventures with you.
We recommend sessions to be 15-30 minutes. If you're a regular sauna user, you may be able to stay longer. It is unlikely that you'll experience more significant health benefits by staying inside for longer as your body will have cleared out the majority of harmful toxins inside the body through sweating within the first 10-15 min.
If you have a high sensitivity to heat, have a fever, have a condition that inhibits your ability to sweat or have a pacemaker or defibrillator- we don't recommend using our sauna.
Our patent pending heater uses resistance coils to generate heat. The current passing through these coils produces low-frequency electromagnetic fields, similar to other household appliances like hairdryers and electric stoves.
It’s impossible to achieve zero EMF, but the SaunaPod heater is on the low end and would be classified as a low-EMF appliance.
The red light in our Sauna Pod is a regular red LED strip that improves the ambiance during a session.
It is not red light therapy, which requires specific wavelengths to be effective (typically between 600 to 850 nm).
Regular red LED strips are not designed for therapeutic purposes.
The Sauna Pod features a PVC flooring material that is easy to wipe clean, ensuring effortless maintenance. The chair is constructed from a durable fabric that is also designed for easy cleaning. Additionally, the cotton fabric of the sauna itself is treated with a wax coating, making it liquid-repellent. This prevents the absorption of sweat and humidity, allowing for simple wipe-down cleaning.
We also recommend leaving the compartment door open after use so that the unit gets proper ventilation
